What will happen to funds raised that are not used in direct support of students experiencing a hardship due to COVID-19?
Any funds raised that are not spent during the COVID-19 response will remain in the Student Emergency Fund account to meet the needs of students experiencing emergencies in the future.
How do students access these funds?
The Office of Student Affairs works collaboratively with Financial Aid in awarding money. Students who wish to apply for funds can complete the application that can be found at https://deanofstudents.uni.edu/emergencyfund. Every attempt is made to turn around applications within a 48 hour window.
