UNI Sparkles

The UNI Sparkles is an inclusive cheer team that consists of current UNI students and children with disabilities from our community. Our team members range in age from seven to nineteen years old, and some of their disabilities include autism, Down syndrome and muscular dystrophy.

We love to perform at UNI’s football, basketball, and volleyball games! Go Cats!

We also perform at Special Olympics, Dance Marathon, the homecoming parade, Relay for Life and other special events around the community. This team gives children the opportunity to be part of a team and cheer in front of their biggest fans!
