UNI Percussive Arts Society
The University of Northern Iowa Percussive Arts Society is a student organization for people who love percussion. Each year the organization hosts educational and social events, such as a percussion All-State Clinic. One major event hosted by the UNI Percussive Arts Society this year is the Iowa Days of Percussion, a weekend filled with recitals, clinics, and interaction between percussionists from around the world. Another exciting event that the student members of the UNI Percussive Arts Society are looking forward to hosting is the 50-year UNI Percussion Reunion. Percussion alumni will be returning to campus for food, fun, music, and fellowship. Not only will the alums have a chance to see what has changed around campus as well as visit with old friends, but this event will also provide a valuable learning opportunity for current students and recent grads.
