UNITUBA Travels to International Conference

This May, the UNITUBA ensemble has been invited to perform at the 2016 International Tuba and Euphonium Conference in Knoxville, TN. UNITUBA successfully performed at a smaller, regional tuba euphonium conference last spring and the experience was hugely beneficial for our students. The ensemble is looking to send its 16 members to represent the outstanding musicianship at UNI. We will be travelling by van and  This trip will be full of amazing music, meeting famous tuba and euphonium performers and teachers, experiencing the wonderful sense of community present in the tuba-euphonium world, engaging with future colleagues, and visiting famous landmarks like Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Our goal is to ensure that all students are able to participate by funding one-half of our costs through community support, so you are a big part of making this trip happen!  Please consider donating toward this exciting endeavor for our students.  Thank you!
