In the fall of 2016, our chapter of Alpha Sigma Tau was re-established at the University of Northern Iowa. Our sisterhood formed as a collection of women from all over campus with different interests, majors, and backgrounds, but something we all have in common is our aim to build a group of women leaders who support one another as we navigate college. Apart we all establish the kind of women we want to be, and together we have started to become them. We are still discovering what sisterhood means to each us, but it is a journey we are all taking together. We are hoping to continue this journey with your help! Establishing a house for the women of Alpha Sigma Tau is the next step of truly anchoring ourselves to UNI.
By achieving our goal of $7,000, we will be able to furnish a University-owned house located on 22nd Street. This will be right next to the Pi Kappa Alpha and Alpha Phi chapter homes! Your gift will allow us to furnish our chapter home to accommodate up to 9 sisters living in the facility. The women of our chapter are excited about being able to hold philanthropy and chapter events as well as provide a gathering space to grow our sisterhood!
You can learn more about our chapter by visiting our chapter website, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages. We will not be able to have this chapter home without your help. Give before April 3rd to make an impact on our sisterhood!
Our letters are a representation of us, by contributing to this level you will help us purchase letters that will hang on our house.
To us, you will be as wonderful as the yellow rose. While we may not plant them in our front yard, you will give us the chance to make the space our own.
Pearls take time to grow and take shape. Your contribution will give a sister space to expand her knowledge and skills.
True friends of Alpha Sigma Tau understand the importance of this house and how it will impact current sisters and ones to come!
